Original Toronto Star caption: Burned wall outside an elevator in an apartment in Regent Park South was photographed by a Star team on one of its visits there to gather material for a series of articles on the public housing project. Residents say workmen have been especially busy making repairs since the series began a week ago. A painter (right) was at work fixing the burned wall when a Star team went back to Regent Park south yesterday. Other recent work includes the repairing of cracked and broken windows; replacing of floor tiles.
