Original Toronto Star caption: First ship movement of spring begin along Toronto's waterfront as Raymond Callaghan and his 3-year-old son; Stephen; sit by the shoreline watching the tug Colinette jockey the Montreal freighter Cape Transport in the turning basin. A total of 45 ships wintered along Toronto's 12 miles of berthage and; now that spring is finally here; the giant hulks are beginning to stir into life again.
