Original Toronto Star caption: Keeping a lively step to tune of popping fire-crackers; a Chinese dragon hops through a tour of Toronto's Chinatown yesterday; as Metro's Chinese community celebrated its New Year. Gifts of food and money were left for the dragon outside business establishments in area. Members of Edmund Burke Society were on hand; by invitation; after Maoists threatened to disrupt the celebration; but there were no incidents and the New Year started auspiciously.
