The notice board leaning on the church in the centre of the image states "Chapman-Alexander Evangelistic Campaign - January 5-26 1911. Meetings here ...." The Toronto Star reported on 11 January 1911 (page 5) about "evangelistic services ... being held simultaneously in twelve centres of the city by members of the Chapman-Alexander campaign forces...At Walmer road Baptist Church last night, the audience numbered fully 500 ..."
