Original Toronto Star caption: Hard times hit St. Hilda's Church, Rector Resigns. Owing to the severity with which the depression has hit the congregation of St. Hilda's Anglican church, Fairbank, York township, affairs of the church have according to members of the finance committee reached a crisis. On Sunday morning Rev. H. R. Yonge, the rector, announced his resignation, amid expressions of regret from the members...St. Hilda's church (5), has grown greatly under the leadership of Mr. Young, who is well-known for his work in aid of the needy of York township.
