NotesOriginal Toronto Star caption: Oldest Scarboro property I. The Fawcett farm, the oldest in Scarboro township, was sold by the Fawcett estate this week through J. A. Willoughby, realtor, to R. C. Gamble, Toronto stock broker, who will convert it into a country home. The land has been in the hands of one family for more than 150 years. Amongst a number of more pretentious buildings the ancient 150-year-old homestead shown above still stands.
