Original Toronto Star caption: The sea and the men and ships that sail upon it seem very close in Lunenburg. This is where the original Bluenose; undefeated champion of the Atlantic fishing fleets in the days of sailing ships; was built. Ship building is in a slump these days; but Lunenburg's fishermen are busy.

    Shipkeeper Bill Cook stands on the deck of the Go one of the two ships he keeps an eye on during the wi daily inspections to check that everything is shipshap sister ship, the James Norris, are the largest grain carries now wintering in Toronto harbor. Cook receives $575 a month for keeping both ships. He lives rent-free aboard the Leitch, in the chief cook's room. [Incomplete]
