Original Toronto Star caption: More than 17;000 fans of the Rolling Stones packed Maple Leaf Gardens for eac of two concerts Saturday by th British rock group. Thousands of others; unable to get tickets; came in hopes of seeing flamboyant Mick Jagger or other Stones; they were offered tickets from scalpers at as much as $40 each. Rain and tight security kept the street quiet; the line-ups were orderly and there was little of the violence that has marred other appearances by the Rolling Stones on their current tour of North American cities. Nine counterfeit tickets were seized.
