Original Toronto Star caption: The sceams started 30 minutes before the Bay City Rollers even stepped on the CNE Grandstand stage last night, says Star rock critic Peter Goddard in assesing typically frantic fans pictured here. More than 60 girls were carried from their seats and countless others just left where they fainted, Goddard reports. Most amazing of all was the Scottish band .... a real rock 'n' roll group, no longer churning out puppy love.
