Original Toronto Star caption: They're Skating on thin Ice ? Literally; The sudden cold snap over the weekend not only made sidewalks treacherous; it also froze over the Humber River in Places solid enough for skaters and some adventurous boys were out for a game of shinny on a wide stretch just north of the Queensway; Originally; five youngsters were playing; but one fell through the ice at a thin place and had to go home to change his clothes. After that; enthusiasm cooled off a bit. The bitter cold is expected to continue in the Metro area.
