  • Sally Ann hands out 5 tons of fish, Five tons of fish, plus 300 cases of cherry cheese cakes and yogurt, were given away today at the Salvation Army offices near Dundas St. W. and Keele St. to Metro welfare recipients. Each family with a voucher from welfare officials was entitled to 10 pounds of the fish, donated to the army by D. McIntyre and Co. Ltd., fish wholesalers. In total, 20 tons of fish, worth $21,000, are being given away.
