Original Toronto Star caption: Pounding the police beat, Members of Halton Regional Police carried the torch along Lakeshore Rd. for the Ontario Special Olympics where they passed it to Peel Regional Police. The Halton and Peel forces were part of a province-wide police Torch Run to raise funds for the Special Olympics which wound up Sunday at York university.
