Vernon Dix 32, of the Burks falls detachment of Ontario Provincial Police was injured Saturday when he drove his car off the road to avoid hitting two youths fleeing in a stolen car. Con. Dix was chasing a stolen car driven by Wallace Leclaire, 18, and John White, 16, of Owen Sound, reachng a speed of close to 100 miles an hour. White and Leclaire were wanted on two charges of car theft and armed robbery of a snack bar four miles south of Huntsville on Highway 11. [Incomplete]
