Matt Van Geffen tows his daughter; Kari; 4 (at the back of the wagon); and her friend; Leslie Meyers; 3; home along Queen's Quay after picking them up from the Toronto Islands ferry. The girls are pre-school students at the Montessori school on the Islands. The school; began in 1974 for children on the Islands; sometimes accepts students from the mainland if there are openings.
