      Fond memories: Isabella Linton, 88, who watched the first Santa parade in 1905, and Dr. John Maxwell, 79, who took part in it while he was a high school and university student in the 1920s. remember the early parades as the extravaganzas of the day. Linton also got her own children up at 6 a.m. to get downtown from Weston for the annual event.
