Original Toronto Star caption: Shivering and alone; Nina Leach didn't have to be reminded Mother's Day was a washout as far as outdoor events were concerned. But she sold $70 worth of flowers at University Ave. and College St. despite weather which cancelled dozens of events. Rainfall during first half of month is already double that of May; 1977. It won't be much better until Wednesday.
