Original Toronto Star caption: Stepping out: Freebie-hunters inspect the goods on King St. E. last night after the word spread that a hundred-odd pairs of discarded shoe samples awaiting the garbage truck were ripe for the picking. By the time the truck got there about 9 p.m. only a handful of pairs were left.
